How can design improve your life?
This was my original question, by agreeing the challenge of @renderweekly with the final goal of design a smart assistant. When I red the challenge for the first time, I immediately understand that i didn’t want think an object as Alexa or Google Home for strictly domestic and recreational use, but rather to investigate how this kind of technologies could help some people that every day deal with life like a real challenge. Which experiences i could improve in their life?
I started to search informations, projects, system and paper on web.I understand, that this technologies can improve for real visuallly impaired and blind people, greatly reducing their social unrest. I don’t have friends or acquainstances with this patologic condition to interview and in this period of Covid19 every direct contanct it’s more diffcult and moreover the time was very limited. For these reasons I had design this concept on my thoughts and on my researchs on web.
So I decide to go on whit 6 macro areas, but I’m sure that they can be more. With all this inputs it’s born my concept of Smart Assistant for Visually Impared and Blind People.
